Well, I DID IT, with the company of my good friend Jessica! It was the Mokapuu Lighthouse hiking trail. It wasn't a very steep one, and it was paved. But it was definitely a work out... it was a little over two miles and was quite steep in areas. I could feel it in my legs and butt. The views we had were gorgeous! I have a picture of me at the top it will be posted soon. I must admit... I felt accomplished. The trail also had some old WWII bunkers and what not. I want to do it again in the "winter" months so I can see the whales.
I am looking into prices to go to Maui now- looks like when we get our deposit back from the old place it will be paid for! It's going to be our 1 year/pre-deployment vacation.
